The Williams–LeRoy House Historic Preservation Society is a nonprofit organization recognized under IRC Section 501(c)(3), committed to preserving one of Alachua County’s most significant historic landmarks.
Beyond its architectural beauty, the Williams–LeRoy House represents a foundational chapter in the early development of the City of Alachua. As a tangible link to the region’s cultural and civic origins, the property serves as both a historical resource and a community asset.
The Society works to restore, maintain, and protect the structure, while expanding its role as a venue for education, heritage tourism, and community engagement. Ongoing preservation efforts require funding for structural maintenance, climate control, and essential utilities to safeguard the building’s integrity.
